Product Description
We prepare our Culvers Root Extract from the rhizome of Veronicastrum virginicum plants which are Custom Wildcrafted in their natural wild habitat. To assure optimal extraction of resins and other bioactive compounds, the rhizomes (with rootlets) are hand-harvested only in the autumn after the aeriel parts of the plants have died back. They are carefully shade-dried, aged for one year to neutralize irritating compounds, and are then thoroughly extracted. Our Culvers Root is never fumigated or irradiated.
